Météo-France Reports Insufficient Soil Moisture Despite Intense October Rainfall and Severe Mediterranean Storms

National meteorological services confirmed that while heavy October downpours delivered up to three months of normal precipitation within a single week across parts of Provence and the Gard region, accumulated rainfall remains insufficient to reverse long-term structural drought conditions across large parts of France.
