Meteo-France Confirms Severe Ground Drought Persists Across France Despite Heavy October Rainfalls and Mediterranean Storms

The national meteorological agency reported that despite intense rainfall and historic precipitation episodes across southern regions and Corsica during October, deep soil moisture deficits and hydrological drought conditions continue to affect large parts of the French territory following an exceptionally dry and hot September.
