French Government Implements Localized Nighttime Curfews Across Major Urban Centers Following Weekend Civil Unrest

Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu authorized prefects in Paris, Lyon, Lille, and Nice to institute partial, localized nighttime curfews from eleven in the evening to six in the morning following unprecedented weekend riots and widespread commercial looting that resulted in over one thousand two hundred arrests and extensive property destruction.
