NATO Secretary General Attends G7 Summit in Canada
Mark Rutte commends Canada's commitment to increased defence spending
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte participated in the G7 Leaders' Summit held in Kananaskis, Alberta, on June 17, 2025.
During the summit, Rutte welcomed Canada's pledge to meet NATO's 2% defence spending target this year and to accelerate military investments in the coming years.
