French Alpine town selected for upcoming global leaders' meeting
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the 2026 G7 summit will be held in Evian-les-Bains, a spa resort town in the French Alps bordering Switzerland on Lake Geneva.
Evian previously hosted the summit in 2003, and the upcoming meeting will bring together leaders from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, and the European Union to discuss pressing global issues.
